Server Release July 2026

The Server Release concerns changes on the MobiVisor Admin panel in the web browser.
Our on-premise customers need to be updated individually and separately.

Enhancements:

  • The Apple VPP description has been updated to accommodate customers that use Apple School Manager.

  • The Wi-Fi Whitelist and Wi-Fi Blacklist policies were previously supported only on Samsung API devices. They have now been extended to support Android Device Owner (DO) enrollments as well and are thus available for non-Samsung devices.

  • Android: The Refresh Enterprise Account action has been introduced for Android Enterprise devices. This action allows administrators to remove the Android Enterprise Account. The correct account is added automatically. Works for all enrollment types.

  • Android: The Allow Share into Managed Profile policy has been introduced for Android COWP enrollments.

  • The Disown Device feature has been introduced for Apple DEP devices. It allows administrators to apply the “release from organisation” command to a DEP device directly from the MDM web console, eliminating the need to use the Apple Business Manager portal. In the Apple Business Portal, you need to give the MDM permission to be able to release devices. (Klick on your server in Apple Business > three dots > Edit)

  • The “Allow Audio Recording” and “Allow Video Recording” policies have been introduced for devices that support the Samsung Knox API. This affects the whole device.

  • The tagging feature has been introduced to the Messaging web console. Support on the agent side will be available in the next Messaging application release.

  • Device Filters have been introduced to the group system, allowing administrators to define group membership based on device-specific criteria.

  • Android: The Run and Stop actions for apps (visible in the device details) are now hidden for certain device API types and operating system versions because they are deprecated.
  • The Samsung Knox page now supports importing devices using the new unified CSV format.
  • The app logo changes made in the web console were not being applied to the MDM agent. E.g. when you swipe kill the app and reopen it, the logo appears.
  • An UI issue caused the wrong policy to disappear as though it had been deleted when removing policies from groups.
  • The “Samsung Knox device not found” issue affecting certain customers has been fixed.
